Move from blueprint to governed production

Activate turns the Blueprint into a tested, working capability, and completes the governance and release gates needed to launch it responsibly.

Activate is the third stage of Meridian.

It's where the capability gets built, integrated, tested, adopted, and put into production.

What Activate includes

Activate is where the capability gets built and launched, with the controls needed to run it responsibly:

  • AI-assisted software development supported by Arc’s reusable skills and lifecycle governance, with Core providing shared business context where it fits.
  • Testing and evaluation against business, technical, safety, and fairness criteria.
  • Governance and release gates with a named Responsible AI owner.
  • User adoption and training, supported by Traction.
  • Production launch and hypercare.
  • Handoff to Sustain for ongoing monitoring and improvement.

Launch is a milestone, not the finish line

Once live, the capability moves into Meridian Sustain, where performance, cost, adoption, drift, overrides, and business value are tracked together, and improvements go through a managed backlog.

What leaders ask about Meridian Activate

Practical answers to the questions that often shape the first conversation.

What happens after an AI capability goes live?+

It moves into ongoing monitoring (Meridian Sustain), where performance, drift, cost, adoption, and value are reviewed regularly, and retraining or guardrail changes are managed through a governed process.

How do you decide an AI capability is ready to launch?+

It has to pass defined release gates for business value, technical performance, safety, fairness, security, and adoption readiness, with a named Responsible AI owner signing off.

Can Activate work with AI capabilities built by other vendors?+

Yes. Meridian is platform-aware and can activate capabilities built on your own platforms or third-party tools.
